Lamar Jackson, Brock Purdy Headline NFL MVP Finalists

Lamar Jackson headlines the 2023 NFL Most Valuable Player finalists, which will be announced on February 8th.

Joining Jackson as finalists are Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Josh Allen and Dak Prescott.

Jackson is widely expected to win the award for the second time in his career.

Travis Kelce is just six catches away from tying Jerry Rice's all-time postseason mark.

Kelce has caught 145 passes in his playoff career, second only to Rice's 151 receptions.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is also second only to Rice in postseason receiving yards (1,694) and postseason receiving touchdowns (18).

Rice had 2,245 yards and 22 touchdowns in the playoffs in his career.

Amon-Ra St. Brown 'Hot' Over Pro Bowl Snub

Amon-Ra St. Brown is making it known that he isn't happy about not making the Pro Bowl as an original selection.

CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans, A.J. Brown and Puka Nacua were selected ahead of St. Brown.

"The receivers that got picked, they're great players, but I was hot," said St. Brown, who has 112 receptions for 1,371 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Detroit Lions this season.

Brock Purdy Among Nine 49ers Selected To Pro Bowl

Brock Purdy was among an NFL-high nine San Francisco 49ers selected to the Pro Bowl on Wednesday.

Purdy is the first Niners quarterback to make the Pro Bowl since Jeff Garcia in 2002.

He was joined by teammates edge rusher Nick Bosa, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, fullback Kyle Juszczyk, tight end George Kittle, running back Christian McCaffrey, cornerback Charvarius Ward, linebacker Fred Warner and offensive tackle Trent Williams.

The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys each had seven players selected.

Twenty-eight teams had at least one player selected, and 21 clubs had multiple players chosen.
